She identifies herself as being from London, and on multiple occassions, the actress has expressed that although she is in Mumbai her heart will always be in London. So it did come as a surprise to us when we learned that Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif spent a good portion of her growing years in Japan.

Kat's latest blockbuster 'Ek Tha Tiger' that premiered in Japan early this month was attended by director Kabir Khan among other production team members. The director shared, "Katrina was very excited about the film's release in Japan where she has spent a couple of her growing years. She has a lot of fond memories of the place and was very upbeat about the film's release."

From growing up in Japan to her movie hitting the big screen, life has come full circle for Katrina who has always dreamed of being part of a movie that would be shot in Japan.

Based on sources close to the filmmaker, on his visit to Japan, Kabir scouted for locations where he apparently plans to shoot his next film. And when Katrina learned about this fact, she told Kabir that if he plans to shoot his next in Japan then she would love to be a part of the project.

Looks like after rocking the east and west, Katrina is all set to rock the land of the rising sun.
