Jennie Garth: Being single mum won't be easy

16th March 2012

Jennie Garth's new life as a single mother will be showcased in her new reality show, Little Bit Country.

The actress recently announced that her 11 year marriage to Twilight actor Peter Facinelli had come to an end.

And now Entertainment Tonight has released a sneak peek of the series where the former Beverly Hills 90210 star talks about her new life.

The clip shows Jennie and her two younger girls watching a mother cow tending to her calf which resonated with the actress.

"See how close the baby sticks to his mommy?" she asked her daughters. "That's all a baby needs, his momma. Just the two of them. That makes a family."

But later in the clip Jennie addressed living out in the country by herself with her daughters.

"Being out here on my own with the girls is not going to be easy," the 39-year-old said. "But I know it's the right thing for us right now. I feel it in my heart. I'm excited about what's next."

Jennie and Peter released a statement earlier this week calling rumours that the actor had cheated on his wife "hurtful."

"There are rumours out there which are completely untrue and hurtful to our family," the statement said. "We just want to make it very clear there are no third parties involved."

The couple met on the set of TV movie An Unfinished Affair in 1996 and tied the knot in 2001. They have three daughters; Luca, 14, Lola, nine, and Fiona, five.
