Jennie Garth has admitted that her life is a "little hectic" right now following the announcement that she has split with Twilight actor husband Peter Facinelli.
The Beverly Hills 90210 alum is now adjusting to life as a single mother to her three daughters; Luca, 15, Lola, nine, and Fiona, five.
She told Access Hollywood that her new reality show, Jennie Garth: A Little Bit Country, came at the perfect time as the seven-acre farm in California where she now resides has become a sanctuary for her family.
I wanted to move out of the city for a while and something inside of me said, It's time.' I needed that sort of shelter," she shared.
"Some things in my life have been transitioning. I just needed that."
The self-confessed country girl at heart says that her girls are "doing great" since the split but admits that it is not always easy.
"My life is a little hectic right now and my personal life is kind of crazy," Jennie said. "This is what I need and what the girls need right now, so it's perfect."
When asked if her estranged husband would also appear on the reality show, Jennie was a little hesitant to give a direct response.
"Yeah, I will say yes," she admitted. "But I hope that people tune in and find out."
