The American singer who released her second album titled I Remember Me last month says she loves being inspired by other artists. The 29-year-old has revealed that she regularly buys CDs because she loves listening to a range of singers. The talented songstress says her favourite singer at the moment is British star Adele.

I just bought Adeles CD because I love her. She is just so amazing, she told Pride magazine. I listen to Keri Hilson, I love her music as well, and Jazmine Sullivan. I like Fantasias new album, I love Jamie Foxxs album ... Nicki Minaj, of course, and Rihanna.

Jennifer who rose to fame in 2004 as one of the finalists on the third season of American Idol says that she always knew she was destined for a creative career. The star says if her music career hadnt gone to plan, she would have become a tattoo artist, as she needs to always keep her creative juices flowing.

Id be a tattoo artist, because I draw as well as sing! I made a pact with myself when I was 17 that I would use my gifts and talents to make a living, which is what my definition is of a career, she revealed. I always said that if music didnt work out, then I would be a tattoo artist because I could still use my talent to make my living. (C) Cover Media
