(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Jennifer Lopez often gets worried that contestants on American Idol will not be able to handle the limelight.

The American superstar has been at the top of her industry for many years, thanks to huge hits including If I Had Your Love, Jenny From the Block and Aint it Funny, plus a successful stint in movies.

She is enjoying a career renaissance at present as her latest single - On the Floor has topped charts across the world, while she is also appearing in the talent show American Idol as a judge.

But J.Lo is concerned about the fledgling fame of those who desperately want to make it, even though she is willing to give these wanabees some good advice.

Theyll be ripped apart, for sure, the 41-year-old said. You know its part of this business but sometimes we think, Can they handle this? Some already seem very fragile, so how will they deal with the big time?

Jennifer is sure that many of those of come through the studio doors will have the right character for a career in showbusiness. Yet she admits that, even though she can give advice, she has to remain impartial to a certain degree and not get too emotionally involved.

Theyve got to be tough and know who they are. We mentor them as much as we can, she said. We have to keep our distance too, because were judges, but we do what we can to share our own experiences. (C) Cover Media
