(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Jeremy Piven is proud he's never "embarrassed" himself in front of David Beckham.

The Entourage actor is good friends with the British soccer star. The pair spent time together during the London 2012 Olympic Games earlier this year and Jeremy is amazed by how much common ground they share.

"I met David at a Lakers [basketball] game. We've got a friend in common. David's one of those guys you talk sport with," Jeremy revealed to Marie Claire magazine. "I think it helps that I didn't grow up watching him and so don't think of him as a national hero. Otherwise I would probably embarrass myself."

The 37-year-old enjoys spending time in the UK and has learnt there are a lot of differences between the British and Americans. In the US, fans of Entourage - in which Jeremy plays Ari - have no problem approaching him in the most unconventional of ways.

"I've even been put in a headlock on several occasions because people think that kind of behaviour is normal around him [Ari]," Jeremy explained. "It's a weird compliment I guess." (C) Cover Media
