Jeremy Renner has made "enough mistakes" in his life.
The 41-year-old actor has enjoyed a career surge in recent years, appearing in movies such as The Hurt Locker and Avengers Assemble. Jeremy is happy success came to him later, insisting he may not have made the most of it when he was younger.
"I think it helps to be older. From where I'm sitting now, I think I've probably made enough mistakes in my life to have learned from them," he told the latest issue of UK magazine Glamour. "I cringe at the thought of how I'd probably have squandered the opportunities I'm getting now if I was younger."
Jeremy stumbled into acting while studying criminology at college.
Although he may appear cool on the big screen, he used to have a "terrible temperament" and would get angry "very quickly".
Jeremy is committed to acting, but realises there is more to life than work. The star has a close knit group of loved ones he spends time with away from movie sets.
"Being focused on my career is important to me," he added. "But I'm not so career-orientated I can't balance things."
