29th January 2011

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Jerry OConnell says his childrens favourite phrase is no way.

The 36-year-old is best known for his roles in movies such as Stand by Me and Scream 2. The actor married former model Rebecca Romijn in 2007 and the pair have twin daughters Dolly and Charlie.

With the siblings now toddlers, Jerry confirms that he often has to contend with the pair repeating the same words all the time, an act that he finds endearing.

"My children are starting to say 'no way' a lot. I don't know where they picked up 'no way' but they dont say no, they go, 'no way.' Like I probably do things that make them go, 'No way, no way!' Really cute. Not the smartest children in the world but really, really cute kids," he told US magazine.

Jerry has also lamented other phrases uttered by the twins that often cause embarrassment. He confirms that he often encourages his daughters to talk even if they utter something indefensible.

If they see a clock they look at it and say, clock, but they mispronounce it. They drop the l from it. I dont want to react because I dont want them to know its a bad word, but I want to encourage them to talk so Im like, Thats good, he added. (C) Cover Media
