The singer-and-actress announced she is engaged to former American footballer Eric Johnson over the weekend. The pair have only been dating for around seven months, but are both sure they are destined to be together forever.

Although they are yet to start planning the intimacies of the nuptials, Jessica has reportedly already decided on which of those close to her will accompany her down the aisle on her big day.

She's finishing her album for now and concentrating on that, then she's starting the planning, a source said. What she's done so far is talked to close friends, picked a few bridesmaids including her sister and a few girls, but there's no place picked or anything detailed yet.

Jessica, Eric and their families are planning to celebrate the engagement with a big Thanksgiving dinner. They will all be together on November 25, and plan to have a big party.

It has also been claimed the pitter patter of tiny feet might be on the horizon, with 30-year-old Jessica apparently keen to become a mother before long.
