(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Demi Lovato is said to be doing well and should be leaving her treatment centre soon.
The 18-year-old Disney star recently cut short her tour with the Jonas Brothers to check into a treatment facility in Chicago to get help for emotional and physical issues.
Sources have now told E! News that Demi is getting better and is hoping to be at home for the Thanksgiving holiday.
"She doesn't want to be in the centre for Thanksgiving and wants to go home," explained the source.
Despite hoping to leave the facility soon, the talented youngster has no plans to rush back to work and according to a Disney Channel insider shell reprise work commitments after the New Year.
Demi is the star of sitcom Sonny with a Chance, and Disney announced last week the show will continue filming without her, but will focus on the programmes plot on the show-within-a-show, So Random!, so that Demi doesnt miss out.
Demi is expected to be putting her music career on the back burner for now, until she feels completely ready to return to recording.
"They're still committed to her," added the source said. "No one is abandoning her. But she is holding off on her music for a bit."
While recuperating at the centre, Demi is apparently planning to watch her pop star pal Miley Cyrus as she performs at the American Music Awards when they are televised on Sunday. (C) Cover Media
