(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Jessica Simpson is reportedly "feeling well" following the delivery of her first child.

The fashion mogul and fianc Eric Johnson welcomed their daughter Maxwell Drew on Tuesday.

Jessica and her newborn are in good health and high spirits.

"Jessica is doing great and really happy," a source told Us Weekly magazine. "She's feeling well and relieved the baby is healthy. The baby is beautiful!"

Jessica and her family will be reclusive for a few weeks until the star has healed from birth.

"The family will be dedicating the rest of this week and most of next week to helping Jess recuperate and take care of the baby," the source shared. "Eric is super happy as well."

Jessica is reportedly set to continue building on her fortune with new maternity and baby ranges being added to her fashion and merchandise empire now that she has become a mother.

She is also rumoured to receive around $700,000 for the first baby pictures of Maxwell and has a multi-million dollar Weight Watchers endorsement lined up to help her shed the post-pregnancy pounds. (C) Cover Media
