Jessica Simpson's hair stylist has plans to give her an "heirloom" to celebrate the birth of her daughter.

The actress-and-singer and her fianc Eric Johnson are expecting their first baby together, with the girl due to be born in a few weeks' time.

Jessica's hairdresser Ken Paves can't wait to meet the tot and has already planned to treat Jessica to a special gift when the baby arrives.

"I got her two really cool heirlooms that she can have," Ken told Us Weekly. "One will be in the family forever and be passed on to generation after generation."

Jessica has spoken about how much she has enjoyed carrying her baby and Ken agrees she has really taken to pregnancy.

"She's [doing] amazing," he enthused. "This is so perfect for her. She's just loving this moment now. [She's] as happy as can be!"

Jennifer's changing shape has hit headlines over recent weeks. Her baby bump is large, with the 31-year-old revealing it is so big because she is holding a lot of amniotic fluid.

Her new figure has caused her to make some changes to her wardrobe too, such as cutting down the height of her shoes.

"This little lady in my belly throws off my balance" she explained recently. "I'm flat-footed, so cute flats and ballet slippers are comical on my feet."
