Jessie J has already reduced some of The Voice contestants to tears.
The talented songstress is appearing as a judge and mentor on the British version of the talent show alongside will.i.am, Sir Tom Jones and The Script frontman Danny O'Donoghue.
Jessie is looking for real vocal talent on the TV show, and says her no-nonsense approach has led to tears.
"I'm more understanding of what the contestants are going through, because not long ago I was in their shoes," the singer told British magazine Closer.
"But, as a coach, it's tough love all the way, and yes, I have made a few of them cry!"
Jessie says fear of criticism won't stop her being true to herself.
The 23-year-old star wants people to see her personality shine through.
"You can't live your life scared of what other people might say," she said.
"I won't have another female on the panel to be compared to, but people will still find a way to pit me against X Factor judges Tulisa, Cheryl Cole and Kelly Rowland. They already do."
