Actor Jiiva had a stupendous start to the New Year, with a well appreciated role in Shankar’s "Nanban", and taking taking part in the first match of the Celebrity Cricket Match in Dubai.

So much so, he could hardly savour the success of the film as he spent Pongal away from his fans and family. But now, the actor is back to work and looks like he has plunged straight into the shoot of Mysskin’s "Mugamoodi", the super hero film being made by UTV Motion Pictures. His co- star in the film is newcomer Pooja Hegde.

Some risky action sequences are currently being shot on Jiiva, by Mysskin and producer, Dhananjayan, fresh from the success of "Vettai", is thrilled with the way the film is shaping up.

 Looks like it’s going to be a rocking year for Jiiva as well as his fans.
