Jiiva, who is currently busy with Gautham Vasudev Menon's "Neethane En Ponvasantham" and Mysskin's "Mugamoodi", has signed a project with Ahmed, who made his directorial debut with Jai starrer "Vamanan".

Buzz is that the film would have Trisha as the leading lady. 'Recently, Ahmed met Trisha and narrated her the script. The actress fell in love with her character and expressed her consent to be part of the project,' sources say.

However, Trisha is yet to sign on the dotted line, they say and added: 'Because the actress has to work out on dates as she is currently busy with "Samaran" opposite Vishal and Telugu film "Dammu" opposite Junior NTR.'

It is said that the film would hit the floors soon and Trisha would sure be part of it. 'Ahmed has worked out a romantic script this time. Yuvan Shankar Raja might compose the music,' add sources.
