Actress Taapsee Pannu will next feature in a biopic based on Indian National team's ex-hockey captain Sandeep Singh. Looks like the movie is commercial and it will include some beautiful romantic elements to keep the audiences engaged. The project is confirmed to be directed by Shaad Ali. Whereas Diljit Dosanjh will be seen in the shoes of Sandeep Singh playing the on-screen hockey star of India.

In an interview with the press, Taapsee said, "Shaad Ali's film is a biopic shown from a love story perspective. It is a very commercial and young film. I am playing a national level hockey player in the film and the character is based on a real person. The girl existed but we are not disclosing who she was as of now. I am really excited for that."

Apart from this untitled biopic, Taapsee will also feature in 'Mulk', a social thriller film based on real-life events. "'Mulk' is a very different film. I am getting back to something more intense and hard hitting," says the 30- year-old actress. Directed by Anubhav Sinha, 'Mulk' features Rishi Kapoor, Rajat Kapur, Prateik Babbar, Ashutosh Rana and Neena Gupta.

She adds, "The line up of cast we have, from Rishi Kapoor to Rajat Kapoor, as an actor it is going to be one of the most challenging spaces to be in."
