Jiiva's next bilingual?

2nd November 2011

Jiiva, who is on a high in Tollywood, post the success of Rangam (Ko) had recently promised that he would soon do a direct Telugu film.

Looks like the actor is set to fulfill his promise now, his next venture, to be directed by Tamil director Ahmed (of Vamanan fame); will be made in Telugu too.

Post Rangam, Jiiva will once again be seen with acclaimed music composer Harris Jayaraj for this movie, which will be produced by Dr V Ramadoss and GKM Tamil Kumaran.

The yet-to-be-titled film is supposedly a romantic musical comedy to be shot extensively in Seychelles, Malaysia and other exotic locations in Europe. The film is expected to start by January 2012; after Jiiva completes shooting for Gautham Vasudev Menon's project.

Talking about the project, Ahmed said, "It is a light-hearted musical with a strong storyline, dealing with themes like father and son relationship, friendship, youth and love."

"The storyline is impressive and I am confident that it will be a visual and musical treat for the viewers", Jiiva mentioned.

Ramadoss is a passionate entrepreneur and is a proud recipient of the prestigious Pravasi Bharatiya Award, presented by the Government of India. As an avid film-lover, he wants to churn out quality films.
