(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Jim Carrey has professed his love for Emma Stone in a bizarre video.

The 49-year-old comedic actor uploaded his ramblings to his official website yesterday saying that he wanted to marry the actress.

Emma, 22, has been targeted by the funnyman who is over twice her age but he acknowledges that he is not the "appropriate" age for her.

"Emma, I think you're all the way beautiful," Jim gushed. "Not just pretty, but smart and kind-hearted. And if I were a lot younger, I would marry you.

"We would have chubby little freckle-faced kids, we'd laugh all day long, go camping and play Yahtzee. Tell ghost stores by the fire."

"And the sex," he starts to say before losing his train of thought.

He continued by saying that "every day for the rest of your life, you would thank God that I was the appropriate age for you".

"But I'm not. I'm 49. I have lines on my face, sometimes a little grey in my beard, and it takes me a little longer to pee than it used to."

Emma is currently dating her Amazing Spider-Man co-star Andrew Garfield and stars in the critically acclaimed new movie The Help.

Jim said that he "just wanted to let [her] know" how he felt.

"I think you're very special and I wish you continued success and artistic fulfilment," the Dumb and Dumber actor said. "But most of all I wish you love and contentment." (C) Cover Media
