Joan Collins laughs off "ridiculous" rumours about herself.

The 78-year-old actress has a film and television career that has spanned 60 years. During her successful years in showbusiness, Joan has heard some odd reports about herself most of which she finds hilarious.

"During the height of Dynasty, that I walked into a restaurant in a mink coat and slipped on a lettuce leaf and fell flat on my face!" she exclaimed when asked what was the most ridiculous rumour she's read about herself.

Joan has tied the knot five times. The iconic star is now married to husband Percy Gibson, 32 years her junior.

The pair have been husband and wife for almost ten years, and Joan says they are "blissfully" happy.

"Percy is the one. Isn't it amazing that I would meet him in my 60s? He is the love of my life, my soulmate he is kind, clever, funny and everything I dreamed of," she gushed to the British edition of OK! magazine.

"We had been together for around six months when September 11 happened. We knew we had to be committed to each other. Forever. Respect each other and give each other space. And have separate bathrooms!"
