(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Joe Jonas and Ashley Greene are said to have split because he lost interest in the romance.

The singer began dating the actress, best known for her involvement with the Twilight franchise, last July. Although they were thought to be getting on well, earlier today it was reportedly they have broken up, although Joes representative is yet to comment on the speculation.

It has now been suggested the 21-year-old singer was the driving force behind the split, after realising the relationship wasnt going the way hed hoped.

Joe wasn't that into it, a source told UsMagazine.com.

Another insider has claimed the relationship was not as harmonious as people thought. Its been suggested the pair had been having trouble for months and were desperately trying to make things work recently.

They broke up shortly before her birthday, then got back together, the second source explained.

Ashley turned 24 on February 21 and celebrated with a big party in Las Vegas which Joe attended. He even gifted her a gold vintage Chanel bracelet for the event, apparently as he was keen to make the evening as special as possible. (C) Cover Media
