(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Joe Jonas says his new album will reveal some different sounds.
The singer shot to fame in the American pop/rock band Jonas Brothers, alongside his siblings Nick and Kevin, and they became one of the most sought-after groups in the world.
Nick has already pursued other projects with his group Nick Jonas & the Administration, and now Joe is also working apart from his brothers on a new, more grown-up sounding album.
Originally it was thought Joe would be making a soft-sounding record, although it is now expected to feature electronic and dance flavours. The talented star even worked with trendy electro singer-and-producer FrankMusik, and thoroughly enjoyed the different experience.
"He's awesome. We've gone through couple of different sounds," Joe told In Style.
The star initially approached the album hoping to emulate one of his music idols, crooner Michael Bubl. Various other influences then took hold, and Joes album is now set to be rather edgy.
I began writing it with a Michael Bubl mentality, but now I'm switching gears a bit, he explained. (C) Cover Media
