(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Joe Manganiello loves eating his steak "without a fork" while he is in werewolf mode.
The American actor plays werewolf Alcide Herveaux in the HBO series True Blood, and was recently signed as a full time actor for the show's fourth season.
Joe loves the fact he is able to capitalise on his animalistic instincts in between shooting scenes for the popular drama.
"I love the moments where I get to play the werewolf and do some sniffing and tracking," he explained in an interview with Parade. "Last year I loved cooking my steak and going off to eat it without a fork. I love all of those little werewolf moments. I incorporated growling into Alcide's character: if he didn't like something, he'd growl."
Joe has promised more "epic" battle scenes in the new season of the American drama series.
The 34-year-old hunk was thrilled to be able to do the majority of his stunt sequences, and says there will definitely be more flesh on show when it comes to the fight scenes.
"There is one fight scene in particular that I can't wait for to air so I can send it to the Pittsburgh Steelers organisation. I can say that," he laughed.
"Yeah, it's True Blood, come on!" he quipped when asked if more fight scenes means more bare chests. (C) Cover Media
