(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Joel Madden thinks the "who and why never mattered" when it comes to making music you love.

The Good Charlotte rocker has answered a series of fans' questions during a Q&A session on his tumblr page.

When asked what he thought of people making music to please crowds versus musicians who write and record material because of their passion, Joel revealed his views on the subject.

"As long as you are making music and you are happy, the who and why never mattered much and always mattered so much to me. :) If that makes sense (sic)," he wrote.

Joel was also asked about his proudest moments both in and out of the spotlight. The singer has two children with wife Nicole Richie; Harlow, four, and Sparrow, two, and says his family are his greatest achievement.

"My proudest moments in life will always be my children. Musically my proudest moments are all that i have done over the last 17 years with GC (sic)," he gushed.

Joel also answered a question from a follower on Twitter. When asked if he felt "intimidated" when he meets "actual punk rockers on the street", the star revealed that he finds it embarrassing.

"to be fair most actual punk rockers' are 15-20 and any grown men still keeping it real' come off more silly than anything else (sic)," he wrote. (C) Cover Media
