December 6, 2010 (Sampurn Wire):The 'Pirates of the Caribbean' star, Johnny Depp has shown the world that he has a very soft and artistic side, which may come out with a little instigation!

The actor had been shooting for 'The Tourist' in the picturesque location of Venice, Italy since last three months. He was there with his co-star Angelina Jolie. The 47-year-old star has been a regular visitor at pizzeria La Rosa Rossa restaurant, where he spent some good time with his wife and kids too.

The owner, Cristiano Vitale, informed that Depp used to visit his restaurant regularly as it is just five minutes away from the actors hotel. In fact, Johny has shown his artistic side at the restaurant by painting his character Jack Sparrow on the ceiling. After painting the self-portrait, Depp also signed it. They did not miss the moment and captured him painting on the wall standing on a step ladder.

Now, this is one painting, which Depp can claim to be his own. Apart from this painting work, Johny also went behind the bar and served cocktails for the visitors. The actor has gifted the owner his own denim jacket and Cristiano Vitale has preserved it by hanging it on the wall in a glass cabinet.

Johny has also promised to visit the restaurant once again whenever he visits Venice. When he visits next time, his painting might turn much more popular and visitors may line up to see the actor's artistic talents!
