December 6, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): A novel idea dawned upon Leonardo Dicaprio's mind in order to impress Robert De Niro. Leonardo was great fan of Robert when he went to audition for a role. Leonardo tried to look threatening so that he could leave an impression on Robert. In an interview Leonardo added that he was just 13 when he watched Robert in 'Midnight Run' at atheater. Leonardo remarked that his father found Robert to be a great actor.

Leonardo had gone out to try his luck at auditioning for the first role of his life This Boys Life. Leonardo commented that he watched all of Roberts movies when he set out to audition for the role. Leonardo questioned himself as what was the special quality that Robert would like to see in him. He thought really hard when he found that he had to look threatening for Robert.

Leonardo is also excited to bag the opportunity to work with director Martin Scorsese. He is a great admirer of his body of work as they are all masterpieces. In an interview to a tabloid he added that being cast in Scorsese movie and watching classic old films are works of art, he wants to channelize his energies into something that is special and original.
