(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Johnny Depp says his kids love it when he plays Jack Sparrow.

The 47-year-old actor is set to return to the big screen as the charismatic captain in the fourth Pirates of the Caribbean next May. The star confirmed his delight at being able to once again play one of his most iconic roles as he finds the character so much fun to portray.

"I enjoy playing Jack so much, I want to keep trying to see what we can do with the character and what kind of adventures we can create for him, he told British newspaper The Sun.

Johnny has two children, 11-year-old Lily-Rose Melody Depp and eight-year-old son John Christopher Depp III, with partner Vanessa Paradis and reiterates that its the family orientated theme of the films which keep him coming back for more.

I did these films originally for my kids and audiences seem to love the character so I feel I'd be letting people down if I didn't do another. I guess I'm a glutton. My kids love him too - although they love Spider-Man more," he joked. (C) Cover Media
