The 16-year-old has enjoyed phenomenal success in the music industry since his introduction in 2009, becoming one of the most sought after performers in the world. Fresh from collecting four American Music Awards, the singing sensation was eager to lavish praise on his reliable supporters.

"I think that my fans have been such a supporting factor that, I mean, I couldn't be doing this without them, so this has just been amazing. I owe it all to my fans, my family, my friends," he told MTV.

In addition to his fans, Justin also revealed he receives additional support in his career from his parents. The star divulged how happy his father seemed after his award triumph stating it was fantastic to see him so animated.

Justin stated: "He was just telling me how proud he was. I'm Canadian, so he was like, it's like when he sees a hockey team score a goal and he jumps out of his seat He's like, 'Yes! That's my boy'. So it was great." (C) Cover Media
