Johnny Knoxville discusses serious career

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Johnny Knoxville is keen to show his life isnt all about poo-poo and pee-pee.

The American star is best known for appearing in American TV show Jackass, which has also been adapted for the big screen. In it, Johnny and friends including Bam Margera and Steve-O complete daredevil stunts such as drinking vomit and swimming in sewage. However, Johnny is keen to show he does have a more serious side. Ive been producing documentaries recently, working on developing movies. We just did a documentary called the Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival. A lot of shooting and fights and stabbings, but there are parts that are heartbreaking and sad, he said. Yeah, its not all poo-poo, pee-pee and throw up.

Johnny added he is more careful than many think. He has refused to complete certain stunts for fear they may irreversibly harm him, although there are others he cant believe he was convinced to take part in.

If the chance of it failing in a really dark way is big, then theres no way Ill do it, he told the UK edition of Elle. But if theres a smaller chance of something bad happening, then Ill take that chance. Im not insane. (C) Cover Media
