(Cover) - EN Movies - Dame Judi Dench will receive an outstanding achievement award at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival.

The 76-year-old British actress is famed for her roles in films such as Tea with Mussolini, Mrs Henderson Presents and Notes on a Scandal, as well as playing M in the James Bond spy movie franchise.

Judi will be honoured at the upcoming Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, which takes place annually in the Czech Republic and is considered one of Europe's most important movie festivals.

According to reports, the actress is set to receive the Crystal Globe gong for outstanding artistic contribution to world cinema.

Previous recipients of the prize include Hollywood icon Robert de Niro and French actress Isabelle Huppert.

Judi is set to attend this year's festival, which will run from July 1 9. More details of the hotly anticipated movie event are expected to be released next month. (C) Cover Media
