Steven Speilberg, Oprah Winfrey and Juliet Blake are producing a film called 'The Hundred Foot Journey' that is being helmed by Oscar winning director Oscar Hallstrom.
The team is currently shooting the Mumbai schedule of the film that also stars
Juhi Chawla and
Om Puri. Juhi plays Puri's wife in the film and has also shot for her part.
It was a three day shoot and Juhi describes shooting with an international crew exciting and a great learning experience.
The film is about an Indian family that starts its own restaurant at a village in France after a certain mishap. They face tough competition by a French restaurant across the street that leads to a culinary war. Helen Mirren plays the owner of the French restaurant.
Om Puri has done quite a few International films, but this is Juhi's debut in the international arena and we are proud of her.
