(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Julie Bowen insists "immaculate conception" is the only way she'd extend her brood.

The American actress is famed for playing mother-of-three Claire Dunphy in hit ABC show Modern Family. The 41-year-old star and husband Scott Phillips also have three children together in real life; son Oliver and twins John and Gus.

Julie is content with her brood, and is happy for it to remain that way.

"Immaculate conception is the only way another kid is coming out of me!" she joked in an interview with US Weekly.

"I love my children, but no mas!"

Julie is busy looking at potential kindergartens for four-year-old Oliver and the star feels overwhelmed by the process. The actress is steering clear of "class mom" duties in future after not realising the extent of the responsibilities involved.

"I don't have a clue what I'm doing! But I have to say, we're so fortunate - you're choosing between gold and platinum. All these schools are amazing, so he'll be fine," she explained.

"I was class mom at the preschool one year and I was pretty much asked not to do that again!

"I would set up meetings for all the moms in class and forget to show up - not because I'm a dingbat, but because schedule changes. It turns out that's a full time job! I thought class mom made a phone call once a year. No, no, no! It's a daily job!"

Julie adores her two-year-old twins. She loves spending time with them and thinks they're adorable.

"I'm madly in love. I want to eat them alive they're so yummy right now!" she gushed. (C) Cover Media
