Justin Bieber not afraid to experiment

27th June 2011

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Justin Bieber wants to create as much of his second album as possible on his own.

The teenage pop sensation has been planning and recording bits of the new record and has revealed he has been writing many of the lyrics while travelling the world.

The 17-year-old, who has collaborated with a number of artists including Usher and Drake, says this time he will have the most influence on his music.

"I want to work a lot with myself," he told MTV News. "And [I want to] write a lot myself. I will be working with a lot of other producers and stuff like that, but I'm just writing a lot, writing on tour."

Bieber, who has enjoyed huge success with his releases to date, also revealed he has been experimenting a bit with his sound.

Currently mainly known for his pop tracks, the Canadian singer's new release will have a more acoustic feel.

"I've done a lot on my acoustic guitar, so it's gonna have that vibe," he explained. "I'm not gonna really limit myself. I think music is music, and genre I mean, I know there's country music, there's rock music, but my music is different. My voice is not meant for any style. I just want to make music."
