Justin Theroux says he's "happy" in his relationship with Jennifer Aniston.
The actor and screenwriter opened up a little bit about his lady love in the current issue of New York magazine.
Although he was guarded in his response, Justin appears to be content with his romance.
"I understand the curiosity," Justin told the publication. "But other than saying I am happy, I am not going to indulge it."
Jennifer and Justin star in upcoming movie Wanderlust which is where the couple met in late 2010. They got together after his relationship with longtime girlfriend Heidi Bivens ended the following June.
But being with one of the most famous women in the world comes with its ups as well as downs and the constant media attention is not one of his favourite aspects.
"[It's like] having shoes that are slightly too heavy," he explained. "It can slow you down and make you more cautious."
"I have to be okay with the fact that there's a narrative that's going to get written regardless of what is the truth.
"Right now, there's a whole other me out there walking around, and I do everything in my power to avoid that guy, because that's not who I am."
One thing that Justin was willing to gush about is the new puppy, Sophie, which the loved up twosome recently adopted.
"She's the most adorable little cookie you've ever seen," he said of the boxer-pitbull mix. "She looks like she just smoked an exploding cigar."
Meanwhile Jennifer recently told GQ magazine that she's just as happy to take the progression of their relationship at its own pace.
"I'm drawing the line on the children conversation. You heard it here. I'm not knocked up," she told the publication.
"I think people maybe want me to have a kid now. I still kind of go with, if it happens, it happens. I'm calm and peaceful with whatever the plan is. It's not something where I'm going, 'I gotta have a kid!'"
