(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Justin Timberlake is proud that he's always been ambitious.

The singer-turned-actor admits he even had a motto as a child to spur himself on to success.

He also said that he has enjoyed entertaining people from a young age.

"Always. Always. I've always been, I'll do it. I got it.' That has been my catchphrase ever since I was a little boy" he told Elle magazine. "[At nine] my favourite thing was to be in a room full of adults and make them laugh."

The star also discussed his favourite quality in other people. Justin, who is currently starring in comedy Bad Teacher, likes people who aren't afraid to laugh at themselves.

"Self-depreciation's one of my favourite things about anyone. Any time you get the opportunity to make fun of your career, your life" he said. (C) Cover Media
