Justin Timberlake: My next album will be different

17th October 2010

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Justin Timberlake has vowed to produce music which is different to anything hes done before.

The singer-and-actor has taken time away from making records recently, instead focusing on his acting career. His new movie The Social Network, about internet site Facebook, has been praised, and he has several more coming out over the next year.

Justin has enjoyed having new goals, but insists he will return to music at some point in the future.

I will get round to making an album, but Im enjoying my life right now. Doing a record and committing to a tour is like a three-year commitment. Id have to travel all over the place, so Ive been enjoying taking some time off redoing my home and taking road trips, he explained.

I will say this though when I do it, I will do it differently to anything Ive ever done before. Trying something out of the norm, thats what inspires me.

Justins last release was 2006s FutureSex/LoveSounds and he is amazed with how different the industry is now. He thinks he would have to relearn the process now, to be in with a chance of having a hit.

The last time I put out a record the landscape of music was completely different, he said. Its crazy because it was only four years ago, but the market has changed so much now. (C) Cover Media
