JWoww says her engagement to Roger Mathews is "more than [she] ever expected".

Roger popped the question to the Jersey Shore star during a skydiving session while filming the hit reality TV show's spin-off Snooki & JWoww.

JWoww - real name Jennifer Farley - was taken aback by her beau's romantic gesture.

"It's more than I ever expected," she gushed to the latest issue of In Touch magazine.

"Roger's not an average-looking guy, he's huge: his personality, his size [6'4"]. So I always said, 'I want my ring like you - big! The bigger the better!'"

Roger proposed in a dramatic fashion. The pair were enjoying a skydiving session earlier this month when he asked for JWoww's hand in marriage.

The 26-year-old was initially too shocked to answer.

"The whole time I'm screaming, 'What are you doing? What's going on?' He's like, 'I want to spend the rest of my life with you! Will you allow me to?" she recalled.

There has been much speculation surrounding JWoww's relationship status. The star's engagement comes after best friend and co-star Snooki announced her plans to walk down the aisle with Jionni LaValle.

Snooki and Jionni recently welcomed son Lorenzo into the world.
