There were hush-hush rumours that Ranbir Kapoor's parents flew to London to meet Katrina Kaif's family and talk about the impending marriage between the love birds.

The rumour hadn't even died down when Katrina made an appearance at Daboo Ratnani's bash with a huge rock on her ring finger.

Immediately there were reports which claimed that after the parents' meeting, the duo got engaged in their presence.

It was also stated that the marriage was due in summer 2015. However, there were no statements from the lovely couple.

Nonetheless, better late than never, though Katrina didn't come out in open, on her behalf her team issued a statement denying the false engagement report. She, through her team, stated that the engagement reports were baseless and had no truth in them.
