The maverick moviemaker Mani Ratnam is currently busy with the shooting of his new movie 'Kadal' and here is an update on it.

Sources say the unit is in Kerela and they are busy shooting for the next schedule. The film is a love story and it will mark the debut of Gautham, who is the son of Navarasa Nayagan Karthik.

Samantha, the beauty with a lovely smile will be pairing up with the debutant. Also, the film will mark the come back of the handsome and talented actor Aravind Swamy. The music for the film is from none other than the Madras Mozart, A. R. Rahman.
