Padmashree Kamal Haasan was supposed to start working on his big project 'Viswaroobam', directed by Selvaraghavan. With major portions of the film planned to be shot in the backdrops of USA, it turned out to be a major disappointment for the team members as most of them were denied visas, that includes Kamal Haasan and Selvaraghavan, as well. Initially, Kamal Haasan had plans of commencing his project, which happens to be a remake of the Malayalam movie 'Traffic' but now, they seemed to have obtained a green signal for the project as the makers have decided to shift the locations from USA to Canada.

According to the reports, the film will go on the floors from next month, as the weather in Canada is favourable since its spring.

G.V. Prakash has been signed to score music for the film while Ramji is handling cinematography.
