It seems that Kangna Ranaut is fast becoming a replacement specialist as the actress who is critically acclaimed for her acting is replacing one after other superstar actresses in recent times.

Just recently she replaced Vidya Balan in "Shootout at Wadala" after "The Dirty Picture" actress refused to star in it. And now it is the film "Once Upon a time in Mumbaai 2"  where she is all set to replace Kareena Kapoor who was the original choice for the film. Kareena was slated to play the central character’s love interest. The film is based on the rise of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim played by Akshay Kumar whereas Kareena was all set to step in the shoes of Mandakini who had love relationships with the don. But Kareena Kapoor recently walked out of the film for reasons best known to her and the makers are now considering Kangna who also played a similar role in the original.

Though nothing has been finalized, the makers are keen to get Kangna on board.
