The 34-year-old rapper performed at The Big Chill festival in Herefordshire, England, on Saturday, where his set was met with mixed remarks from the crowd. Kanye delayed his performance by a few hours, and was reportedly in a foul mood throughout.

According to British newspaper The Sun, the delay came after the American star's voice became hoarse from arguing with the event's organisers prior to his show.

When he finally took to the stage, he shouted at one of his band members for playing a song incorrectly before storming off and returning with a ten minute-long speech about being misunderstood as an artist.

Kanye insisted during his speech that he should not be compared to dictator Adolf Hitler.

"This is my most important gig of the summer - but I'm really frustrated. I only have half of my voice. I just want things to be right. This is the reason we started half an hour late," he is quoted as saying by the publication.

"There is so much bulls**t going on in the music industry right now. Someone needs to make a difference. People treat me like Hitler."

Despite his onstage outburst, Kanye remained calm during a touching tribute to late singer Amy Winehouse. The star spoke about "beautiful Queen Amy" and talked about meeting the troubled British songstress. (C) Cover Media
