Young Kollywood actor Karthi Sivakumar, who is popular in Tollywood with films such as 'Yuganiki Okkadu' and 'Aavara', will soon start working in a director Telugu movie.

Talking to journalists in Hyderabad, the actor, who was in the capital city of Andhra Pradesh to promote his recent film 'Naa Peru Shiva' (dubbing version of 'Naan Mahan Alla'), said it was his longtime dream to act in a direct Tollywood film, which is coming true now.


"Baskar of 'Bommarillu' fame will direct the film. It will be a wholesome entertainer fit for complete family viewing. An official announcement will be made at the earliest," said Karthi, who recently entered wedlock.

Back to business after spending honeymoon in Austria, with his wife Ranjini, Karthi has started shooting for his Tamil film 'Saguni', which is being directed by newcomer Shankar Dayal. His last release was 'Siruthai', which is a remake of 'Vikramarkudu'.
