The clock is ticking for his marriage (July 3) but Karthi, the thorough professional that he is, is busy shooting for his forthcoming venture 'Saguni', directed by newcomer Shankar Dayal.

Recently, the actor's intro-song in the movie was shot in the Chennai harbour. 'A mass kuthu number, it will make the audience to dance in theatres,' sources say.

"'Saguni', is an action thriller with a political backdrop. 'Karthi is playing a clever youth, who uses every opportunity he gets to become big in life. He is as clever as Saguni and hence the title," add sources.

Hope the coming days bring good luck for the actor, that his film does well and he has a long and happy married life ahead.
