The Sivakumars are all smiles. For, Karthik Sivakumar is going to become a father soon as his wife Ranjini steps into motherhood.

Karthi married Ranjini, a native of Erode, in mid 2011. "Recently it has been confirmed that Ranjini is pregnant. The whole family is so happy", sources say.

Meanwhile, Karthi is currently busy shooting for 'Alex Pandian' being directed by Suraj, after which he will start working on Venkat Prabhu's 'Biryani' and Rajesh's 'All In All Azhagu Raja'.

The actor is equally popular in the neighbouring Tollywood too. Almost all his films are dubbed and released in Telugu and they end up collecting good revenues.
