Richa Gangopadhyay's loss seems to be a gain for Neetu Chandra. After the actress walked out of Venkat Prabhu's 'Biryani', the latter has stepped into the project.

Starring Karthik Sivakumar in the lead role, Hansika Motwani plays the other lead in the movie, which is set to hit the floors soon.

"Richa opted out of Biryani since she felt that her character was subjected to some changes and hence, lost its importance", say sources.

They further add, "Following her exit, Venkat Prabhu has finalised Neetu Chandra for the role. This will be Neetu's next film in Kollywood, after Jayam Ravi's Aadhi Bhagavan."
