Kate Middleton determined to hide wedding gown

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Kate Middleton is having a special marquee created so no one will see her wedding dress until she enters Westminster Abbey.

The 29-year-old will marry Britains Prince William at the famous London church on April 29. The pair have been revealing the details of their big day in stages, but have kept specific details guarded.

Kates much-anticipated wedding dress is been one of the most speculated about, and well-kept, secrets of the big day.

This is being treated as a state secret; it really is being shrouded in secrecy. [Kate's] determined to keep the wedding dress a secret. When she leaves the Goring Hotel, she's having a marquee specially created over the entrance so that no one will get a glimpse of her until she enters Westminster Abbey, royal correspondent, and author of William and Harry: Behind the Palace Walls, Katie Nicholl told ET.

Approximately 1,900 invitations were sent out last week and guests are to include over 1,000 of Prince William and Kates family and friends, over 50 members of the royal family, over 40 members of foreign royal families and over 200 members of government and parliament. Despite the number of guests, sources have insisted the day will be an intimate one for the royal couple.

"The wedding is being split into two parts. The majority of the people at this wedding are going to be friends of the couple It's not a state wedding. This really is a wedding for their family and friends," she added. (C) Cover Media
