Producer Ekta Kapoor's upcoming venture 'Jabariya Jodi' starring Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra is constantly hitting a road block in terms of release date. 

The makers have announced a release date for the third time today. This wedding drama will now release on August 2, 2019. 

Lead actor Sidharth tweeted, "The surprise wedding of the year set to arrive on August 2. #JabariyaJodi #JabariyaJodiOn2ndAugust @ParineetiChopra @ektaravikapoor #ShobhaKapoor @RuchikaaKapoor @ShaaileshRSingh #PrashantSingh @balajimotionpic."

Previously the movie was scheduled to release on May 17, 2019, which was then pushed to July 12, 2019. 

Movie is based on forced marriages in Bihar, where groom is abducted and forced to get married at a gunpoint, to avoid dowry. It's a rom-com, set in Bihar. Sidharth plays Abhay, a ruffian Bihari abducting grooms and Parineeti plays Babli, a die-hard romantic girl, who is brave and bold. 

Directed by Prashant Singh, it a co-production venture between Balaji Telefilms, Entertainment and Karma Media. Hopefully the movie gets a hassle free release this time. Check out Sidharth's tweet below-
