When Britains Prince William recently announced his engagement to royal-to-be Kate, his elegant girlfriend of eight years, she became one of the worlds most talked about style icons.

The pretty brunette is celebrated for her long flowing hair, which has made her the envy of women across the globe.

It has been revealed Kate uses products made by professional hair care brand Kerastase to maintain her ultra-shiny and healthy mane.

She shampoos with Kerastase Bain Satin 2 (11.95) for moderately dry hair, which gently cleanses and treats. She then follows up with Kerastase Nutritive Lait Vital (14.20) for intense conditioning, reports the website Kiss and Makeup.

Kate is set to wed Prince William on Friday April 29 next year at Westminster Abbey in London, and fashion experts are eagerly anticipating how she will have her tresses styled as well as speculating about who will design her gown.

Royal correspondent Yvonne Yorke recently told the Huffington Post fashionistas will be surprised when the name of Kates chosen designer is finally revealed. It is believed the young style icon will opt for something made by a designer whose creations she has already worn on many occasions.

"When the name is officially announced, it will come as a surprise to many, and catapult the designer to worldwide fame," she explained. "For clues on the identity, I suggest looking at those who have made dresses for Catherine, her sister Pippa, and her mother Carole." (C) Cover Media
