The British supermodel will tie the knot with The Kills rocker Jamie Hince later this year and is busy planning the nuptials. There are rumours the wedding might take place in France, which is where Kate is thought to be holding her 30s themed bachelorette party.
On Wednesday, Kate attended the lavish opening of new hotel W in Leicester Square, London. To make the celebration special new band The Ws performed, consisting of The Who rocker Roger, Mick from The Clash, Kasabians Jay Mehler and drummer Zac Starkey, whose father is Ringo Starr.
Kate was said to be so enamoured with them she has already asked for a repeat performance at her wedding.
Kate had the most fun with The Ws. And now they are talking about getting them to do a one-off gig at her nuptials. Theyve got the right rock n roll feel shes looking for. Theyre right up her street, a source told British newspaper The Daily Mirror.
The band played a number of well-known tunes, including a version of iconic The Clash track Should I Stay Or Should I Go? Kate was seen dancing along energetically and even stepped in to help when Roger admitted he didnt know the lyrics. The model immediately began to sing herself, much to the enjoyment of the partying crowd.
The group went on to play a storming rendition of The Whos Happy Jack, but it was their version of The Clashs classic London Calling which really sent guests wild. (C) Cover Media
