(Cover) - EN Star Style - Katie Holmes says the most important element of her clothing line is that items are made in America.

The 32-year-old US actress knows a great deal about style and boasts her own clothing line alongside stylist Jeanne Yang.

The Holmes & Yang collection has been praised by fashionistas for its elegant-yet-laidback aesthetic, with Katie and Jeanne thrilled to be promoting their second season the Fall 2011 range.

The clothing will be on sale at iconic US department store Barneys New York, as well as online, and Katie admits one of her biggest preoccupations is making the line all-American.

Its more important that its made in the USA," she explained to The Cut.

"We can make some of the most beautiful luxury pieces here. Kate and I are always talking about how were Americans, and we want people to realise this, and so our price points you know we dont have the best margins but it doesnt matter for us," added Jeanne.

Katie believes the Holmes & Yang line stands out from the crowd because the pieces are so intricately made. She also thinks the passion that both she and Jeanne have for fashion shows in their designs.

"We love fashion and spend a lot of time at vintage shops and costume houses looking over these old beautiful pieces and looking over the detail work and why they're so special, she told StyleCaster. (C) Cover Media
